Over the last three decades, John and Lisa Daniels have raised three boys as avid sportsmen. The three of them loved to be outside and took advantage of what the Maine wilderness had to offer. Anything from hiking and fishing to whitetail hunting, the boys were involved.

As years went on, the Daniels’ boys horizons were broadened and their passion for the outdoors grew stronger. In the late winter of 2020, one of the sons had asked Lisa to sew together a pouch to keep his ice cleats in. It was at that moment, that the idea of the Pack Sak was born. Many weeks and several prototypes later, the first Pack Sak was sold in Sabattus, ME, allowing hard water anglers to organize their hooks, lines, and sinkers within a sack fastened to the outside of their pack baskets. Ultimately protecting traps and organizing fishing accessories held within pack baskets, the original The Pack Sak created for ice fishing, is now used by trappers, hikers, and campers alike.

A simple product “Made in Maine,” The Pack Sak comes in two different styles and a variety of colors. It has crossed state lines and is being shipped across the US to help anglers and outdoorsmen everywhere keep their packs organized and their lines tight.
